Disclaimer:

The authors are solely responsible for the content of the news groups, for all descriptions and content of the individual posts.

UseNeXT doesn’t have any influence over the messages posted in the respective groups. Usenet is a public forum, open to everybody, and all users are responsible for their own actions.

The huge data volume alone makes it impossible fot UseNeXT to influence the contributions posted on the publicly accessible Usenet.

The UseNeXT services provide our customers with access to content extraneous to the company (in a manner comparable to internet service providers such as AOL, etc.).

2. Don’t spam!

“Spam” meaning the posting of unsolicited advertising, or a great number of repetitive messages, is unwanted on usenet.

3. State your e-mail address

When posting a message on usenet, please enter a valid e-mail address after “From:”. This address does not have to be your main e-mail address.

Please do not use nicknames (pseudonyms) when posting a message on usenet. In post parts of usenet, this is not allowed.

4. Avoid multiple postings

Posting a message or article simultaneously in many different groups is undesirable and usually annoys other users.

If you try to post a contribution in more than one group at a time (please see “spam”), you’ll be unpopular with other users. Please refrain from doing this.

5. Post binary files in the most appropriate groups!

All files containing more than just text (music, movies, images etc.) may only be posted in groups designated for this purpose. You can generally recognize these groups by the addition “xxx.binaries.xxx”

6. Please observe the rules of netiquette!

The word “netiquette” is quite possibly one of the oldest internet terms – for a good reason.
The basic rule: Don’t write anything you wouldn’t tell people to their faces.

“Netiquette” (from net + etiquette) is the term for general rules of conduct on the internet. Please observe these rules at all times.

Usenet is the place where all users can and may express their opinions, as long as they don’t contain insults or abuse. Discussions may be controversial, funny and profound. Please note that the posting of content
